Water Sports in Greece

Water sports are very popular in Greece and with a huge range of organised beaches, on the mainland and islands, there is almost no specific taste that can’t be met. With seas bounding the mainland on both sides, and around all islands, there is no type of organised team event that can’t include some form of water activity; so don’t hesitate to ask us what we can organise for you. The weather is usually great and from any time between March to late October, it will be warm enough for anyone to dive into the crystal waters.

So, what can you try when in Greece? We’ve prepared a whole list for you; it’s not exhaustive, since there is always something else to do according to a specific beach or island, but we’ve covered our favs. So trust us when we say we know what people enjoy and just bring your sporty self, a good suntan lotion and some form of swimsuit, to cover the basics.

Diving

Scuba diving is considered the king of underneath water activities, as it includes a magnificent sea-bed, an abundance of sea life and a totally unique experience every single time you dive. The islands of Santorini, Corfu, Zakynthos, Serifos, Milos, Kimolos, Sifnos and even Athens have plenty of organised diving schools to help you have a memorable time underwater. In some islands, like Kalymnos, you could even go for sponge diving…
